Life crashed into me like a freight train, but this freight train was as good as gold. I graduated in May as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design, summa cum laude. I took a couple months off to relax while getting my portfolio ready for the big trip around the US. My brother and I left Waco, TX on July 9 and after going to Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Denver, Las Vegas, LA, Yosemite, San Francisco, The Redwoods, Crater Lake, Portland, and Seattle, we made it back to Waco on August 7. On day two of the trip James, my younger brother, and I camped out in the Lincoln forest in New Mexico. After setting up our tents and eating some BBQed chicken we began to relax with the lantern lit and nice breeze blowing through the pine trees. I look up to see the stars, so bountiful where there are no city lights to hide their beauty and a shooting star crossed paths with my gaze. I made my wish. The next day I get an email from CMYK saying one of my logos, maid brigade, will be published. The day after that I get a job offer with Cisneros Design in Santa Fe, and following that by maybe two days I recieved another email from CMYK mentioning that my Geyser Peak wine bottle will also be published. My wish had manifested itself rather quickly I say!
I'm now moved into an awesome place in Santa Fe, NM, and I begin work next monday. Things are changing, and for the better! I have places to see, things to do, and people to know. Looks like I'll stay busy for a while!

The only reason I don't give up when it's hopeless is because I don't try to begin with.

Act for the moment.
Live for the memories.
I appreciate it so much
